A documentary film about the mistreatment of women in 20th-century Ireland in the Magdalene Laundries.
Using imagery to transpose the Celtic myth of the banshee to the modern-day banshee, this film uses the Poetic Documentary Mode to tell this story. This film tells the story of the survivors who suffered in state-run institutions such as the Magdalene Laundries.
